Ready to take on the surf zone with skill and control?
Whether you're a paddler looking to build confidence in dynamic water or wanting to develop the technical skills needed before tackling surf launches, coastal landings, and breaking waves, this hands-on workshop gives you the practical tools to read and respond to surf conditions with composure. You'll start with the fundamentals; learning how waves form, break, and behave in the surf zone, before developing the boat handling skills needed to move through dynamic water with control. We keep the focus on practical, hands-on learning throughout, refining your edging, bracing, and dynamic strokes so your responses to moving water become instinctive rather than reactive. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the technical foundation and water time to more confidently launch and land in surf, manage capsize and recovery close to shore, and the composure to commit when the waves are breaking.
Ideal for paddlers wanting to safely navigate surf zones and coastal landings with skill and control.
